Description
Attends to guests in the hotel restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience. Takes orders, serves meals and beverages, and addresses guest inquiries. Demonstrates knowledge of menu offerings, manages special requests, and maintains a clean dining area. Collaborates with kitchen and bar staff, processes payments, and upholds service standards. Requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a dedication to guest satisfaction.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Greeting and seating guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Presenting menus and providing detailed information on food and beverage offerings
- Taking accurate food and drink orders and relaying them to the kitchen and bar
- Serving food and beverages promptly and accurately
- Anticipating and addressing guest needs and preferences
- Ensuring proper table setting and maintaining a clean and organized dining area
- Handling guest inquiries and resolving any issues or complaints
- Collaborating with other team members to ensure a smooth and efficient dining experience
- Perform any other duties assigned within the position's scope
Qualifications Required
- High school diploma or equivalent
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry trays of food and beverages
- Excellent stamina and physical fitness
