Description

Manages guest check-ins and check-outs, provides information about hotel amenities, and addresses guest inquiries. Maintains accurate reservation records, processes payments, and ensures a welcoming and efficient guest experience. Collaborates with other hotel departments for special requests and communicates guest feedback. Requires excellent customer service skills, proficiency in reservation systems, and attention to detail.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and dining options
  • Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
  • Maintain accurate and organized reservation records
  • Process guest payments and ensure all financial transactions are handled accurately
  • Coordinate with other hotel departments to fulfil special guest requests
  • Communicate guest feedback and suggestions to the appropriate departments
  • Ensure a welcoming and efficient guest experience throughout their stay
  • Perform any other duties assigned within the position's scope

Qualifications Required

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus
  • Proficiency in hotel reservation systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Previous experience in a customer service role is preferred
  • Knowledge of local attractions and dining options is a plus
  • Previous experience as a receptionist in a boutique hotel is preferred
  • Familiarity with the unique needs and expectations of guests in a boutique hotel setting
  • Ability to handle high-end clientele and provide personalized service
  • Knowledge of boutique hotel operations, including reservations, concierge services, and guest relations
  • Proficiency in using boutique hotel reservation systems and software
  • Strong problem-solving skills to handle unique situations and requests
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to create a welcoming and personalized experience for guests
