Supports the supervision of hotel functions during nighttime hours, ensuring continuous and efficient operations. Assists in overseeing front desk activities, guest inquiries, and security checks. Collaborates with night staff, addresses any overnight incidents, and ensures adherence to safety protocols. Requires adaptability to nocturnal schedules, leadership skills, and an understanding of hotel nighttime operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
Supervise front desk operations during nighttime hours in a boutique hotel
Assist guests with inquiries and requests during overnight shifts
Conduct security checks and ensure the safety of guests and the property
Collaborate with night staff to ensure efficient operations
Address any overnight incidents and resolve guest issues
Adhere to safety protocols and emergency procedures
Provide leadership and guidance to the front desk and transportation team during nighttime shifts
Maintain accurate records and reports
Assist with check-in and check-out procedures as needed
Coordinate transportation services for guests, including arranging airport transfers and local transportation
Perform any other duties assigned within the position's scope.
Submit all Oil & Gas billings to Front Desk Manager before leaving
Verify al charges were done during the day (In- House & Check out)
Ensure Check guest bills are attached correctly
When checking off guests once there is a balance on the account, ensure there is an email covering such. There should be separate invoices—one for rooms and one for food.
Bills are to be attached. No loose bills are to be submitted to finance.
Verify Oil & Gas meal. limtes are being followed.
Qualifications Required
High school diploma or equivalent required
Bachelor's degree in hospitality management or related field preferred
Additional certifications in hotel management or customer service is a plus
Physical Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role in a hotel setting
Strong knowledge of front desk operations and customer service
Experience with night audit procedures and night shift management
Familiarity with transportation logistics and coordinating guest transportation services
Ability to handle and resolve guest complaints and incidents during overnight shifts
Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency procedures in a hotel environment
