Description

The Finance Assistant will support the Finance Department with accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), and inventory management tasks. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will assist in financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions. Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including data entry, invoicing, and payment tracking.
  • Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Support inventory management by updating records, conducting periodic audits, and analyzing stock levels.
  • Help prepare financial reports, summaries, and statements as required.
  • Communicate with vendors, clients, and internal departments to address inquiries and follow up on outstanding issues.
  • Conduct routine checks to ensure adherence to financial controls and procedures.
  • Perform basic administrative duties within the Finance Department, such as filing and scheduling.

Qualifications Required

  • Education:
    • High school diploma (minimum requirement).
    • Certification or training in accounting, finance, or business administration is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and familiarity with financial software.
    • Strong numeracy skills and the ability to work with spreadsheets and formulas.
    • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally, both verbally and in writing.

Experience:

    • Prior experience in finance, accounting, or inventory management is preferred but not mandatory.

Physical Requirements
